How can you not love shopping in a bookstore where you can demand of the sales assistant "Stephen, find me something weird" and have him immediately hand you two DAMN fine volumes?
Great looking store, some biffo books to be had, and as you get more established (and import more small press and general weirdofalderalorama) an increasingly important landmark in the WA SF environment.
Like finding water in the desert :)

Also, must reiterate that this is the most attractively staffed bookshop ever in the world. I'm just sayin'.

It's a great little store, I popped in there Sunday arvo with Izz and her entire family,
akire_yta behind the till. Though I must say, Shafto Lane is kinda dead on a Sunday, I think PF was the only shop open!
Oh, and K9 Corps rule! ;)

FP is the first business in Shafto Lane to ever trade on a Sunday, and this was our first Sunday, so we weren't expecting a lot of traffic through.
Did you buy the discount K9 books? Damn. I'd been coveting them myself, but also had been unable to make myself take them off the discount table and put them aside.

It all looks fabulous....far better than Forbidden Planet here (where they seem to view female customers as the enemy *rolls eyes*)
I wish you all success with this.

Your shop is just what I need to cheer me up on a rainy Sunday. See you soon, from a new regular customer, Carol R.
and look - there's my favourite four letter word.
sale.
brilliant - I might pop by soon to have a squizz!
